Big News!

Hiatus

Hello friends,

I've been trying to find ways to catch up on orders and to keep customers happy but I am falling increasingly behind.  I feel like right now my only option is to close the web store to focus on outstanding orders without taking on further workload.  Some people have been saints with their patience, while others have (understandably) become tired of waiting for me to complete their orders.  It pains me to know I have upset people that have put their faith in me, but I simply can't keep up right now.

I want to be open and honest without trying to make excuses, but I have been going through a very challenging period that leaves me with almost zero time to complete all this work.  Due to those circumstances I have fallen behind and have been finding it difficult to catch up.  Hopefully with my circumstances stabilizing and no new orders being taken I can finally complete all remaining orders and then I will take some time to assess the best path forward.

Thank you for understanding.

Cheers,

Tom

Chill Seeker Camp Chair Kickstarter Launch!!

Posted on July 19, 2016 by Tom Mosher | 0 comments

We are excited to finally show off our fun new camp chair, the Chill Seeker!  It's made from all the same great materials we trust in our bags and gives you back support that allows you to comfortably chill pretty much anywhere.  It comes in two versions, with and without the external drink pockets.  The pockets are lined with Primaloft insulation which keeps beverages hot or cold as desired!

We're running this funding drive primarily to purchase equipment and tools that will allow us to improve efficiencies within our small studio space.  We don't like it when companies try to claim that they can't make the offered product without your help.  I can fully make these, look, I have pictures! But if we raise these funds then we can purchase the necessary fiberglass support rods at much more favourable prices and also get our space nicely dialed in.

Check it out and go back the campaign if you're into it!

JOYROLL 3 Event Wrap-up + Video

Posted on April 25, 2016 by Tom Mosher | 0 comments

For years I have been visiting Joyride 150 Indoor Bike Park to ride either FGFS or BMX.  It's an epic 'bikes only' park just north of Toronto where I live that is a mecca for many people in that world.  Over the last year I have been completely blindsided by an obsession for rollerblading.  This year in blading has been a great experience and a lot of surprising opportunities have come along with many new friends.

Anyways, long story short, in whatever obscure sport I wind up in I inevitably wind up throwing events/contests/jams of some sort.  I find it a fun challenge to conceptualize and orchestrate these gatherings, the reward of seeing the smiles on all the faces leaves me feeling almost selfish for the joy I get from that!

A few weekends ago we hosted a unique event at Joyride 150 where we took over their epic 'bikes only' skatepark and instead invited out rollerbladers from all over the area. People travelled from all over the Greater Toronto Area, as well as many that came in from much further away!  It was our third go at this silly concept but a lot of people came out and claimed they had a great time which makes all the hard work seem worth it!  The space has such a huge range of fun things to play on that there was something for everyone.  Big thanks to Erik Burrow from Shop Task for helping me pull this one together!  And thanks to all the sponsors that generously chipped in prizes for the event.  We gave away an IBEX as the big prize and lots of people got to check the bag out up close.

Cameron Card and his buddy Jimmy Hake drove up from Woodward, PA and made a great video of their trip.  It's 16 minutes of your time well invested! Toronto Trip V2

Woo! We've been working really hard on getting these dialed in just right.  These two bags are sisters in their design and share a new construction style that I've adopted and plan on using in a lot of executions going forward. Have a look!

Classic Bifold Wallet Added to Store

Posted on January 05, 2016 by Tom Mosher | 0 comments

We have finally added to our web shop a product that has quietly existed for over a year.  I made myself a few prototype wallets and then went on using them, concluding that they work great but not taking the time to make them an official 'thing'.

Well, here they are, ready to exist.  Go have a look and see what you think!
